This is technically the first time Cohen actually "held" Carson. For some reason he just laughs the whole time- I don't know what he thinks is so funny, but as you can see Carson is not as excited about the whole thing. Cohen has been so cute with Carson, he always kisses him on the head and now he is trying to say Carson " Carcar"- I love it.
So yesterday was Cohen's 18 months check up and Carson's 2 weeks appt. Good news all around. We were worried about how small Cohen was and possibly were going to test his thyroid. Fortunately Cohen gained 2 1/2 lbs in 3 months so now he is 21 lbs and 32 inches tall which = 2% in weight (at least he's on the charts now) and 42% in his height. Yeah- no testing because he is going so well, but he did have 3 shots and screamed through his whole appt. because he knew they were coming. Carsom is doing well too, he is past his birth weight and now weighs 8 lbs exactly and grew another inch- 20 1/2 incehes so he is 20 % for height and weight. And even better news his jaundice is down to a 12- and so our doctor wants him off the lights for a day and then retest again on Wednesday to make sure his levels are still going down on their own and aren't relapsing back. So yeah- good news!!

I'm glad everything is going well!! And we're right there with you in the "growth" worries. Nathan had his 3 yr. check up and he's in the 5% for weight, and 3% for height...but he's on the charts!!! Yah!!!! No thyroid testing/growth hormone testing for us either, which is a relief.
Glad everything went well. I know all about kids not registering on the chart. Addison is my first kid that is "normal".
They are both just so adorable. Natalie is not on the charts for her height, but it's in the other direction, as in off the charts - a little crazy!
