Zions National Park

We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. We are 45 minutes from Zions and the boys really wanted to go. So one Saturday morning we went. It was crowded since it was 4th of July weekend. We took the shuttle all the way to the end of the canyon and then walked about a mile by the river. At this point the river is so shallow that you can get in and play- the boys loved it! Carson really loved playing on the sandy beach!
 Always a silly face

Water fight- all the boys were soaked
Afterwards we went back down the canyon to the little town Springville (which is right outside of the park), and had lunch at Oscar's- so yummy! It was such a fun morning. And as a side note: I was not dizzy- yay! Felt pretty good that day- it was kind of perfect!

4th of July

Ohe fourth of July this year we decided to go to the carnival thing the city puts on. We went about 10 am and it was already 100 degrees- man it gets hot here. The boys had lots of fun. They got to ride the "train", go down a huge slide (which they didn't love), eat snowies and go down the slip n slide before we called it quits because it felt like a billion degrees outside (I know cry baby me).

The boys didn't get the running and sliding part- so the nice teenage boy pulled them down- funny!

That night we had some friends over for a BBQ and watched fireworks on TV. It is still just too late for them to stay awake. But we had a fun family day together! I sure love this country!
