The Working Man

Cohen loves to carry around this first aid kit- we always joke around that he is going to be in the medical field. Anyway he was carrying around this first aid kit and he put it on the back of his train and waves bye bye. I don't know why he did it but I thought it was so cute- once again like father like son off to work.

Reading the Paper

We just started getting the weekend newspaper. Cohen and daddy both love the sports pages. Cohen will point out every ball in the section. He is very much like his dad!

Mall Stroller

So winter seems to never end here- it has been snowing and raining this past week- driving me crazy- it's spring for crying out loud. Anyway, I decided to take Cohen out to the mall to get out of the house. And at this point in my pregnancy it takes all my energy to go anywhere. So I get there and I open the trunk to get the stroller.... no stroller, ahhh! So I carry Cohen into the mall and I rent this mall stroller. They are shaped like a car with a steering wheel. He literally spun that steering wheel the whole hour we were at the mall. He also screamed when I took him out of it- which I actually felt bad because he was having such a good time. So if your child like to drive cars- the $5 you pay to rent these strollers are worth every penny!

Sunglasses

We went to Boise last weekend and my mom bought Cohen his first pair of sunglasses. My dad would pull into the neighborhood and let Cohen "drive" around. So now of course every time he wears his sunglasses he thinks he needs to drive in the car. What a cool dude!

Happy Easter!

Okay so this is a little late, but I wanted to put a few pictures on. Steve took these with his camera ( along with like 100 others). But I think they turned out cute- and we may be posting more later after he edits them ( he's been playing with photoshop and light room a lot). We went to Boise this weekend for my cousins wedding and to visit my grandparents. Cohen did a lot better than expected for his first road trip- thank heavens for DVD's in the car. It took a while to adjust to sleeping there but he did a lot better than previous vacations. He had a blast hunting for Easter eggs- pretty much he found two of them and would just run around the yard until we finally coaxed him into putting them into his basket- it was a long hunt, but so much fun for him. Then we put him in his Easter outfit and had a photo shoot- he looked so handsome- what a cute boy.

New Big Boy Bed

Okay so he is not sleeping in his bed yet, but he does love it- to run and jump all over it that is!  We had to order a guard rail, so we are waiting for that to come in before we transition. As you can tell in one of the pictures his crib is set up right next to it so it is a little cramped. His bed is really cute and functional- it has drawers underneath so we don't need a dresser for him which is nice to not have to purchase another one. I am nervous to have him sleep in his bed, but he will have to do it sooner or later so I am sure you will hear a lot more stories about this in the future.
