Happy Halloween 2009!!

AARGH MATEY! WALK THE PLANK!!!
Cohen was an awesome pirate this year for Halloween. This was his first year where he actually knew what was going on. He loves trick-or-treating and actually says it. He will also tell you aargh matey (he pronounces it maney) so fun. He loves his pumpkin bucket and all the halloween decorations.
ROAR!
Okay so there is nothing scary about this adorable little brown bear. Carson doesn't love wearing his bear hat, but when he does he looks so adorable. Our happy little brown bear.

Happy Birthday Steve 32

Happy 32nd Birthday sweetheart. Okay so his actual birthday was on the 25th, but I have been a slacker and haven't done a post about my super awesome hubby. I adore this man. He is the greatest husband and best father a girl could ask for. I love you so much babe. I am glad you had a good day!

C+C

Our super fun friends Matt and Jamie came over a couple of weeks ago to hang out. This is their ADORABLE Cierra. Cohen was being very protective about his toys, but then he saw the light of how cute this little girl was. So of they went on his train, riding into the sunset- okay not quite. But they did have lots of fun and we loved having them over. Can we count this as his first kiss?

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a pumpkin patch for family night this last Monday. Of course as soon as we got there it was cold and raining. Cohen of course didn't mind he was so excited about all the pumpkins and was trying to pick them all up. Carson didn't get out of his car seat -(note the picture above) and so he didn't last very long. Cohen loves our pumpkins, so although short, it was a fun night as a family.

5 MONTHS

What a fun 5 months this has been, hard, but fun. Carson is so happy and he is such a cuddly baby. 80% of the time he is laughing and smiling, or talking. The other 20% he is screaming (usually in pain poor baby). There really isn't too much in between. He is a chunky little baby too. His hands are constantly in his mouth- slobbery boy. Those bottom teeth are close. He goes to bed around 6:30-7 pm and wakes up twice at night to eat. He is up around 6-6:30 am every morning, but we actually don't mind because he is so happy and fun in the mornings that we enjoy getting up to see him. He rolled over 3 times yesterday yeah (finally), but hasn't done it since so we will keep working on it. We are so blessed to have Carson in our family!!

Cute

Carson is still not holding his head up super high, but he is trying. Still no interest in rolling or jumping. I am sure once he stars I won't be able to stop him. I forgot to post about his doctors appointment for his 4 month check up. So he weighed 16.2 lbs.=78% for weight, 25 1/2 inches long= 69% for height. His head is small and kind of flat on one side and so they were concerned that there might have been a problem so that day we took him up to Primary Children's Hospital and had his skull x-rayed. Everything came back normal and the plates are fusing together great- so no helmets or anything. He is happy and healthy and we really love this little guy. There were a couple of other issues, cradle cap (not a big deal, but his poor head itches all the time), and we also need to go and see a urologist at Primary's. Poor guy, part of his circumcision ring scared over and so now they have to numb it and cut it out. When does it end!!! All in all nothing serious. We love our Carson!!!

Brothers are the Best

Steve said one morning he fed Cohen breakfast and Carson was playing on the floor. Cohen laid down by Carson and said "Hiiii". He was patting him and laughing at him. Finally my boys are noticing that the other exist. Hopefully this tells of things to come and that they will be best of friends.

Sleepover

Cohen went on a sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa Bowers last weekend. He always does great and isn't sad at all to leave mom and dad. Here he is packed and ready to go- with his monkey of course. He waited at the door with so much excitement, when they finally got there he was laughing and shaking with joy. They took him on trax (and told him it was a train- which I guess it is) which he loved, and then went out to eat at he gateway. Gave him a bath, put him to bed and for breakfast the next day- that's right mickey mouse pancakes. Cohen thought he was in heaven. And he learned a new word- candy corn, needless to say I just bought some yesterday because he asks for it all the time and he says it perfectly, we couldn't resist. Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Danny- Hedder

Cohen just randomly says Danny- Hedder about every other day. Heather is my sister and Danny is my brother-in-law. Cohen LOVES them. Last weekend they came over for pizza night and Cohen was absolutely beside himself. He was talking up a storm and giggling like crazy- it was really cute. To be honest Cohen isn't the most social child- and really hasn't warmed up to Heather and Danny until recently- I guess he saw the light of how awesome they are. On Friday Danny had to leave for awhile and Cohen kept saying bye bye Danny for the hour afterwards. They are great with my kids. Carson just smiles and hangs out, but they play peek-a-boo with Cohen, wrestle, read books and let Cohen shoot them with his "gun"-(thanks again mom and dad for the loudest toy you could possibly have gotten him from Disneyland).
We love you Hedder and Danny- come by more often!!!

Just For FUN

Here are a couple of pictures of our AWESOME boys. I have to write a couple of cute things that they do.
1. Cohen now says his own name and Carson's name- Cohenen (literally with 2 n's) and Carcen- that's right sooo cute. 2. In one of these pictues Cohen is carrying around his curious George monkey he got last year from his cousin Ethan for Christmas- he loves it and carries it around like we carry Carson. He also has his spitty snuggle with the monkey- it is so cute. 3. The last 2 naps he has taken he climbed in bed himself- what? That's right climbed in bed and went to sleep. 4. He talks a ton, you her such words as "Tankt you much", To infinite and beyond" and many others.
Carson: 1. He is cooing like crazy, ahhh, uhhh, ohhh, so fun. 2. Laughs like crazy on demand, such a happy little guy. 3. Loves to be held , and is starting to discover the world around him, including his brother (you often see Carson staring and smiling at Cohen).
I love our little guys!!!

I leave for 1 minute

I let Cohen play on our patio all the time without supervision. There is just not much he can do to get hurt- well then he ventured outside the box. I look out the window and here he is on top of our patio table talking to himself/the lantern. To be honest all I could do was laugh- it was so cute. So I proceeded to take pictures- you can see he is smiling only because I was smiling- yeah I'm not in trouble!!!! I of course made him get down, but inside I am still laughing. So today I have had a cold and don't feel 100% and my boys have been amazing today- seriously answers to prayers. Thanks for the laughs Cohen!
